ReachOut Star Performer Award
The Award celebrates academic excellence and resilience among Namibian learners who rise above their circumstances to achieve greatness.

The Star Performer Award was introduced to recognize and celebrate learners who demonstrate academic excellence and commitment despite difficult circumstances.
The program shines a spotlight on learners in rural schools, rewarding their perseverance and inspiring others to follow their example.
Each year, RONA partners with a selected school to recognize learners who have excelled academically despite difficult circumstances. Together with teachers, top performers are honored with Star Performer Award hampers, filled with certificates, medals, and stationery to celebrate their achievements.
One exceptional Grade 7 learner is also chosen for the Star Performer Scholarship, supporting their transition into secondary school with resources and mentorship. In 2023, Mario Simaru from Kavango West became RONA’s first scholarship recipient, marking the start of this life-changing initiative and proving what’s possible when potential meets opportunity.

Since launching the program:
- 3 schools reached — Nkutu Primary School, Kananana Combined School, and Otjondeka Primary School.
- 23 academic champions recognised to date.
