Giving back to children in need
We provide school essentials to children in need, helping them start the year with confidence and pride.
The Back2School Campaign is one of our longest-running and most loved initiatives. Every year, we provide vulnerable learners across Namibia with essential school supplies from uniforms and shoes to stationery and backpacks.
Every year, RONA identifies schools and communities most in need and distributes school items to selected learners. In 2022, the campaign reached Sauyemwa Combined School in Rundu, supporting 20 vulnerable learners with complete sets of uniforms, shoes, and stationery. Similar efforts have taken place in Otavi, Kombat, Aus, Katima Mulilo, and other regions across Namibia.
Since launching the program:
- 🏫 7+ schools reached across Otjozondjupa, //Karas, Kavango west and Zambezi regions
- 👧👦 Over 200 learners reached
- 🎁 Hundreds of uniforms, shoes, and stationery items distributed
- 🤝 Community partnerships built with local donors and schools
