#PledgeAPad Campaign

Because no girl should ever miss school because of her period.

We collect and distribute sanitary pads to girls in rural schools and orphanages, while also hosting open conversations about menstrual health and hygiene.

Introduction

The PledgeAPad Campaign was born to change that by providing pads, promoting menstrual health education, and helping young girls feel confident, informed, and proud of who they are.

How We Make a Difference

Since its inception, the PledgeAPad Campaign has reached girls in Kavango East, Kavango West, Omusati, Oshikoto, and Zambezi regions. School visits are conducted where RONA distributes pads, conducts awareness sessions, and provides menstrual hygiene talks to both girls and boys.

In 2023, the campaign supported schools in Bravo Settlement and across northern Namibia, providing hundreds of girls with sanitary pads and education on menstrual health.
