Spreading Kindness, One Act at a Time

The Random Act of Kindness program allows RONA to respond quickly to urgent community needs by providing food parcels, “Love in a Box” hampers, and second-hand clothing to families in distress, spreading kindness wherever it’s needed most.

Each year, RONA identifies urgent needs within communities through its volunteer network, partner organizations, and local communities. Depending on available resources and funding, the team mobilizes donations, organizes collection drives, and delivers assistance directly to those affected.

For example, the “Love in a Box” campaign has brought joy to dozens of girls by gifting care hampers filled with hygiene products, affirmations, and small treats. These small but powerful gestures remind communities that they are seen, valued, and supported.

Since launching the program:

• 🎁Love in a box initiative in Erongo and Oshikoto regions targeting 30 young women
• 🏫 Donation of 2nd hand clothing to families and Charities in Kavango East, and Khomas Region
