ReachOut Namibia (RONA) is proud to announce an important milestone in our journey of empowering youth and strengthening civil society:
We have officially been selected as the Namibia Country Lead for the Her Voice Fund (HVF).
This appointment marks a powerful step in amplifying the voices, rights, and leadership of Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) especially those affected by HIV, poverty, and gender-based vulnerabilities. As Country Lead, RONA now serves as a key driver in supporting grassroots organisations that work directly with young women across the nation.

💜 What the Her Voice Fund Stands For
The Her Voice Fund is a international initiative that supports organisations advocating for the health, safety, and leadership of AGYW. It focuses on:
- empowering girl-led and youth-led community groups
- strengthening their capacity to deliver impactful programmes
- fostering inclusive representation within national and regional platforms
- ensuring AGYW voices shape the conversations that affect their lives
By becoming a Country Lead, RONA now plays a pivotal role in ensuring these efforts grow stronger across Namibia.
🌱 Why This Matters for Namibia
Across many regions, AGYW face barriers such as:
- high HIV infection rates
- limited access to menstrual health resources
- lack of leadership opportunities
- gender inequality
- stigma and discrimination
- limited access to sexual and reproductive health information
Grassroots organisations are often the first responders, yet they are underfunded, undersupported, and overlooked.
This is where the Her Voice Fund becomes essential.
And where RONA’s leadership becomes transformative.
By bridging support between funders and local organisations, RONA is helping to:
- expand AGYW-safe programming
- strengthen youth-led advocacy
- improve community-level interventions
- build stronger, more resilient organisations
- create long-term impact across communities
This leadership role is a direct reflection of RONA’s commitment to ensuring no girl or young woman is left without support, dignity, or a platform to be heard.
💬 A Moment of Pride for Our Team
Becoming the Namibia Country Lead is more than a title, it is a responsibility, an honor, and a continuation of RONA’s work in empowering the next generation.
As our Executive Director reflected:
“This role allows us to strengthen the voices of young women whose stories are often unheard. It’s an opportunity to uplift community organisations that are doing courageous, life-changing work in their communities.”
Be the first to hear how love is changing lives, one child at a time.
